Guide to Creating an API Key and Secret Key on Binance

What is an API Key?

An API Key allows a trading algorithm or software to connect to your Binance account and execute trades automatically.

Important Notice:

• Do not share your API credentials with anyone who is not authorized. Share them only with INNOVAI.

• Do not enable the Withdrawals permission.

• You can disable or delete the API Key at any time through Binance settings.

Step 1: Logging into Your Binance Account

1. Go to Binance: https://www.binance.com

2. Log in with your username and password.

3. If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, enter the code from your authentication app or SMS.

Step 2: Creating an API Key and Secret Key

1. In the top-right corner, click on your profile icon and select API Management.

2. Click Create API.

3. Select System-generated API Key.

4. Enter a name for the API (e.g., TradingBot).

5. Binance will ask for email verification and 2FA authentication.

Step 3: Setting API Permissions

After generating your API Key, you will see both the API Key and Secret Key. Now, configure the required permissions:

Enable Reading – Allows access to market data and account balances.

Enable Spot & Margin Trading – Enables cryptocurrency trading. 

Disable Withdrawals – Do not enable this! The algorithm does not require withdrawal access.

Step 4: Storing Your API Keys Securely

• Important: The Secret Key will be displayed only once!

• Store your API Key and Secret Key in a secure file or an encrypted document.

• Do not share your API credentials with anyone except InnovAI.

Step 5: Sending Your API Credentials

To allow the algorithm to connect to your Binance account and execute trades, please send us:

• API Key

• Secret Key

Do not send any other credentials, such as passwords or personal codes. 

If you wish to revoke the algorithm's access, you can delete the API Key from Binance settings at any time.
